All applicants must be 19 years or older, and a criminal background check is required. Cabin LeaderBe a role model to a child. This is our most challenging position, but if you have the energy and enthusiasm, you can make a huge difference in a child's life. We are looking for dependable staff who are able to work with children in a rustic camp setting. Prior experience working with children is a plus! As a cabin leader you will be responsible for the safety, welfare, and most of all, the fun of campers ages 6 - 17 while participating in programming and activities. Special placements are available for applicants with experience working with children with special needs (emotional, physical, cognitive, hearing and health impairments). Program StaffHelp us make the magic come alive! Special Days Program Staff are the people who bring our theme to life each summer at camp. You might find yourself assembling a huge maze out of cardboard boxes, constructing an elaborate game out of PVC pipe and yarn, or just dressing up in a crazy costume and making kids smile. Something new every minute! Previous themes at camp have included: The Seuss-a-lympics, our "Extreme!" reality-TV theme (trading cabins, and so forth), "Out of this world" (a visitor from outer space), "H2O'07" (water!) and more. What will this summer bring? Sign up and find out! Candidates must have ridiculous amounts of creativity and enthusiasm! Artistic and crafts abilities a plus. Ability to do about six things at once not required, but probably really helpful. (Oh, and ... can you juggle?) |
